Offered for sale is a meticulously maintained, highly original 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. With just over 27,000 miles, this vehicle is a beautiful , pampered original survivor that has been recognized at the highest levels of classic car judging. Finished in the gorgeous Code 36 Firethorn Red, the paint absolutely lights up in the sun. It was rustproofed when new, ensuring a completely rust-free body nearly 50 years later.

I am reluctantly parting with this beautiful Classic Cadillac because I only have room for one classic Cadillac at home, and I have found a another dream Cadillac I would like to aquire.

Exterior & Convertible Top

• Paint & Body: Code 36 Firethorn Red. The paint is highly presentable with a few minor touch-ups. Note for full transparency: There is some thin paint near certain edges from over-polishing in the past, and a minor mar on the rear bumper from previous bumper guards. Otherwise, all trim and brightwork are near perfect.
• Convertible Top: The power top operates flawlessly. The canvas is a brilliant, bright white—a true testament to this car being garage-kept and pampered its entire life. Includes the original soft boot convertible top cover.
• Wheels & Hubcaps: Sits on the correct style and size wheels with correct whitewall tires. The hubcaps have been fully restored to like-new condition, featuring custom vinyl decals and removed, polished, and repainted center ornaments.

Interior & Features

• Upholstery: Near-perfect dark red interior showing only very minor wear. Includes the original factory carpeted floor mats.
• Audio System: The original factory 8-track radio has been fully serviced, cleaned, and is 100% operational. It features a correct set of rear speakers and a NOS (New Old Stock) set for the front. The sale includes the original Cadillac demonstration 8-track tape. The power antenna has been completely rebuilt. (I currently use a discrete Bluetooth converter in the cigarette lighter to stream music from a phone).
• Dashboard & Amenities: The original dash clock was fully rebuilt, retaining its original movement, and keeps perfect time. The 6-way power seat, cruise control, and rear window defogger all operate correctly. The ashtrays and lighters appear completely unused.

Engine Bay & Mechanicals

• Engine Compartment: Meticulously cleaned and detailed to appear exactly as it did leaving the factory in 1976. Features correct belts, hoses, hose clamps, distributor cap, and the correct-colored GM ignition wires and boots.
• HVAC System: Unmatched cooling performance. The system has been fully and professionally serviced with a new compressor, new hoses, and a new VIR. The evaporator and condenser were flushed with a specialized cleaning kit to eliminate 50 years of accumulated sludge. The system was then triple-evacuated down to a strict 500 microns and properly charged with R12.

Trunk Area

• Shows as brand new.
• Features the original trunk cardboards and original rubber floor mat.
• Includes the highly sought-after mini spare and spare tire cover, which maximizes the available cargo space in the Eldorado's trunk.
